About Chris Kuti.

Chris Kuti is a worship leader, communicator, song writer, organization and social networking guru.

Chris was associate pastor of worship and creative arts at First Baptist Church Temple Terrace, FL for over 7 years. With a specific passion for creating intimate and creative worship environments, Chris was a part of the team who launched the college age and young professionals gathering called “Late Nite.” After only a few weeks, Late Nite was gathering hundreds across Tampa Bay to worship corporately. On top of playing a vital role in the forward progress of Late Nite, Chris was fulfilling requests to lead worship at numerous events nationwide. In 2007 Chris released “All I Know,” an independently recorded worship project. The project gained nationwide attention when friend and fellow artist, Big Daddy Weave, decided to cover Chris’ song “We Want The World To Hear” on their 2007 Warner Bros. release, “What Life Would Be Like.”

After a random writing appointment, Chris decided to partner with fellow Florida artist Conrad Johnson to form Chris and Conrad. The duo quickly signed a record deal with Arizona based record label VSR Music Group and Nashville’s EMI CMG distribution and got to work on their 2009 debut record release. Working alongside of friends and producers David Garcia (Group 1 Crew, Mandisa), Greg Hill and Roy Mitchell Cardenas (from the band Mute Math), the duo produced their self titled record, which released nationwide on May 5, 2009. With their first single, “Lead Me To The Cross,” Chris and Conrad received the recognition of Billboard Magazines #4 song of 2009 on Christian AC Radio, along with a #1 on the Inspirational Chart, and #3 on Billboard’s “Top Christian Songs” chart. With nationwide tours with Phil Wickham, Building 429, Britt Nicole, 33 Miles, Big Daddy Weave and a headlining tour of their own, Chris gained experience in the business side of being an artist, along with a grasp on building and growing effective communities on the most popular social networking sites.

After 3 radio singles and hundreds of days touring, Chris and Conrad decided to go their separate ways in October 2010. With Chris’ passion for the local church and for his family, he felt that life on the road wasn’t helping to build either of those two things. Rather hindering him from becoming the husband that God had called him to be. Chris continues to travel nationwide doing worship events with his wife of four years, Mary (speaker, singer, writer). Chris and Mary’s story has resonated with thousands as God has rebuilt their affections on Him and each other.

As God continues to carve out new paths of ministry for the Kuti’s, Chris is currently “focused on equipping local churches, artists, and everyday people to be the most organized visionary that they can be as they continue to lead and equip the people that God has called them to serve.” In 2011, Chris founded “Renown Artist Management,” a management firm focused on being a resource alongside of speakers and musicians, freeing them to do what they’re best at, creating.
